Wallpaper Removal Services in Orange County
Removing existing wallpaper is often the first step toward a clean painted wall. Versatile Custom Painting provides wallpaper removal and wall preparation services throughout Orange County, California.
WALLPAPER REMOVAL
A Clean Start for Your Walls
Wallpaper removal is only part of the job. What is left behind, from adhesive and residue to the condition of the wall underneath, determines how much preparation the surface needs before it can be painted.
Our approach reviews the existing wallpaper and the wall surface, defines the removal and preparation included in the approved scope, and works toward a paint-ready wall.
WALL PROJECT AREAS
What a Wallpaper Project Can Include
Existing Wallpaper
The existing wallpaper is reviewed to confirm the areas included and how removal is approached.
Adhesive & Residue
Remaining adhesive and residue are addressed so they do not affect the finished wall surface.
Wall Surface Evaluation
The wall underneath is evaluated once the covering is removed, since its condition affects the preparation required.
Paint-Ready Preparation
Approved preparation brings the wall to a condition suitable for its final finish.
The exact scope is confirmed during the estimate and depends on the wallpaper, the adhesive, and the condition of the wall underneath.
Wall Condition After Removal
Wall surfaces underneath wallpaper are not always in uniform condition, and some damage may only become visible once the covering is removed. Any additional repair or preparation work is reviewed and approved before finishing proceeds.
